Who wrote the book?

I did! My name is Scott DeSapio. After spending several years helping to produce the film trilogy adaptation of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged — hoping to spread its message of individualism — I decided to aim my passion for critical thinking, objective truth, and the greatness of the American ideal toward what I believe is the demographic most important to the future of the United States: its children.

I'm a devoted husband and the father of a daughter who dazzles in figure skating and trains alongside me in jiu-jitsu. Just as my WWII-veteran grandfather taught me the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence — which I had memorized by age 6 — I began passing it on to her at age 3, because I believe true wisdom endures through the deeds we model for young minds.

I draw on the wisdom of the Founding Fathers to build worlds where Liberty the Eagle, Jefferson the Fox, and Franklin the Owl live out lessons in honor, integrity, dignity, loyalty, and respect — thrilling adventures that celebrate the American ideal: liberty and individual freedom, equality of opportunity (not outcome), self-reliance, the rule of law, E Pluribus Unum (“Out of Many, One”), optimism, a strong work ethic, and the enduring greatness of the United States of America.
